Merry Christmas Wreath

Wednesday, December 19, 2018
Merry Christmas from everybody at Little Red Wagon! It's our final challenge of 2018 and we're going out with a bang! Heather is our hostess and she's chosen the theme "All Things Christmas". And our extra special news is that we have a prize up for grabs!! Head over to Little Red Wagon for all the details!

I made a card for this week's challenge. I used the new Holiday Wreaths stamp and dies set from Your Next Stamp. I've fallen in love with the tiny birds in this set!! It was fun to colour things up and, although you can't tell from the photo, I went a bit Wink of Stella mad so all the wreath's embellishments have a glittery sparkle to them.

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, may your holidays be full of peace and joy.

Me and You

Wednesday, December 12, 2018
This week's Little Red Wagon challenge is hosted by the wonderful Imke! She wants to see black and white with one other colour. My card is nothing at all like my original plan which included a black and white town with a yellow car - but sometimes, that's just how crafting goes!!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the projects created by the rest of the design team - and then pull out your own black and white supplies (with another colour of your choice) to join the fun!

YNS - 12 Days of Christmas

I am so incredibly excited to be joining the Your Next Stamp team this month for their special "12 Days of Christmas" feature! If you haven't been following, be sure to head over to Your Next Stamp as they are giving away a $25.00 YNS gift certificate! To win, all you need to do is leave a comment on each of the 12 Days of Christmas posts on the YNS blog. The more posts you comment on, the greater your odds of winning. One random comment, among all the comments left on the posts, will be selected to win the gift certificate.

Each year, I do rather a lot of baking (and sampling!). I find that fresh, baked goods make a great gift - whether it be tins full of sugary sweetness or little samples added to decorate my packages.

For my project, I added some fancy shortbread to little baggies and decorated them with some tags using some of my favourite YNS stamps: Holiday Snow Globe. There's such a fun assortment of characters, shapes and little sentiments. To create the actual tags, I used the Cool Tag 4 die set, layering two of the tags before adding some ribbon and little bells to finish things off.

Please be sure to check out the YNS blog to see my project - and don't forget to leave a comment there for your chance to win a gift certificate!

Happy Pawlidays

Wednesday, December 5, 2018
I can't believe it's December already! This year has been flying by. I've been so incredibly busy and am looking forward to a break after Christmas. It will be nice to have a week to take things easy for a bit!

I'm thrilled to be hosting at Little Red Wagon this week. I've chosen the theme "Purrs and Wags" which means I'd like to see projects with or for house pets. No matter what your house pet is (or what sort of pet you'd like to have), you're welcome to join the fun! I used a little pup from MFT's Happy Pawlidays stamp set to create my card.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created and then link up your own project. I look forward to seeing your creations!

Hello Bunny

Wednesday, November 28, 2018
Brenda is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she wants to see our leftovers - stamped images, cuts, gems, papers, ribbons, or anything else that was leftover from a previous creation.

The majority of my leftovers get recycled or thrown out but I did have five previously stamped images and a "hello" speech bubble die cut. I'm not sure what they were leftover from though! I coloured the bunny to coordinate with the "hello", stenciled another die cut and then assembled everything to make a super quick card. I'm thinking I should start keeping more leftovers!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to check out the rest of the Girlfriends' projects - and then put your own leftovers to work for you!

iPad Cover

Wednesday, November 21, 2018
No cards are allowed at Little Red Wagon this week! Jan's our hostess and she'd like to see other sorts of creations.

When I purchased a cover/folio for my new work iPad, I thought it was a bit bland so I pulled out some vinyl, designed some word art in Silhouette Studio (based on some artwork that I'd found online) and then cut it out! I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I've had lots of compliments on it too!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' creations - and then get creative yourself! With anything but a card, the possibilities are endless!

Hey

Wednesday, November 14, 2018
Heather is this week's hostess at Little Red Wagon and she's challenging us to "Remember When". Heather would like us to use products and supplies that we purchased some time ago but have never used.

As soon as I saw the fun little Smiley Happy Alphabet stamps and dies from Your Next Stamp, I was smitten! Lots of ideas but not enough time though! This challenge was just the incentive I needed to put the products to work! My card is a simple one but I like it!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then pull out something that you've had for a while but never used in order to join the fun!

Hello Friend

Wednesday, November 7, 2018
It's Imke's turn to host at Little Red Wagon and she's saying "Just a Sentiment". We're able to include a bit more on our projects, but the focus needs to be on the sentiment itself.

I used some die cut letters for "HELLO" and a little stamp for "friend". I pulled out my Distress Oxide for the smooshed background and added a few splatters to the letters. I decided my card needed just a little something more so added a sweet tiny mouse to finish things off.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then create your own sentiment-focused project to link up!

Feel Better

Wednesday, October 31, 2018
Happy Wednesday - and Happy Halloween! I'm hosting at Little Red Wagon this week and have chosen the challenge "Regal and Royal" - anything to do with kings and queens, princes and princesses, castles and the like.

Quite often when I pick a challenge, I have something specific in mind, and often it's based on a newish product that I'm encouraging myself to use. I must have spotted some sort of prince/princess set and not actually purchased it for when it came time to make my project, I realized that I had nothing that fit the theme!! Fortunately, I found a fun digi stamp of the Princess and the Pea (found HERE on the Free Dearie Dolls Digi Stamp blog) and went with that. I had lots of fun colouring in the image!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created. And then get out your own Regal and Royal products (or find something online like I did!) to create and link a project for this week's challenge. I can't wait to see your take!

Happy Birthday

Wednesday, October 24, 2018
It's Brenda's turn to host at Little Red Wagon and she's chosen the theme "Damsel in Distress". Pull out your distressed inks and put them to work on your creations this week! You're also welcome to distress your project in other ways too (e.g., inked edges, torn papers, etc.).

For my card, I heat embossed some flower stamped images (from a freebie set that came with a magazine) and then used some Shaded Lilac distress ink to blend from bottom to top of my panel. I then spritzed a bit of water before adding my sentiment, created with a word die and some more heat embossing.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created. We'd love for you to "Distress It" too!
4

Thank You Dairy Much

Wednesday, October 10, 2018
It's Heather's turn to host at Little Red Wagon this week and her theme is "Thankful For You". Heather would like to see thank you projects.

I decided to create a fun little thank you card using products from My Favorite Things. I kept things monotone with the exception of the red sentiment strip.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to check out the other Girlfriends' projects - and then make and link a thank you creation of your own!

Time to Seal-abrate

Wednesday, October 3, 2018
Imke is hosting this week's Little Red Wagon and she wants us to "Use a stencil".

I actually used two stencils to create my card. I watched a video tutorial on creating waves with a cloud stencil by using two different colours and offsetting the stencil for each "layer". I'm afraid I can't remember where I saw the video - but I do remember the technique and tried it out for this challenge! The other stencil was used for my sunbeams. I also used some stamps from Your Next Stamp to add to my watery scene.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then pull out your stencils to create your own projects!

You Make My Heart Jump for Joy

Wednesday, September 26, 2018
Happy Wednesday! It's my turn to host at Little Red Wagon and I've chosen the theme "Falling Leaves" and I'd like to see fall-themed projects. It's autumn here in Canada although we've still been enjoying a fair bit of summer-like weather here in Central Ontario. Most of the leaves are still green!

I used MFT's Harvest Buddies and Harvest Mouse stamp sets to create my little fall scene.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created and then link up your own fall-themed projects! I'll be popping by to see what you've created!

Merry Christmas Tag

Wednesday, September 19, 2018
Brenda is this week's hostess at Little Red Wagon and she wants us to "Tag It". Our challenge is all about tags!

I actually created my tag a bit ago while visiting my friend Mandy (a former Little Red Wagon Girlfriend). I haven't shared it yet so thought I would now for this challenge!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own tag(s)!

You're Fintastic

Wednesday, September 12, 2018
Bling it on! That's our challenge at Little Red Wagon this week. Jan is our hostess and she's looking for glitter, sparkles, gems and any other sort of bling.

I created a simple card with some glittery cardstock behind my fish. It was starting to get a bit dark when I took my photo so the colour isn't true-to-life which is too bad as it's a really interesting bluey-green. My little fish have some Wink of Stella added for some extra shine too.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then get out the bling for your own projects!

Ferris Wheel Thanks

Wednesday, September 5, 2018
School has started up again and I'm back to work following a lovely holiday. I'm blessed to have a job that I absolutely love and am so glad to be back in the office and with my incredible colleagues!

Heather is our hostess at Little Red Wagon and she wants us to go "Back to Basics" with one layer or CAS creations. I used MFT's London Mouse for my little Ferris Wheel thank you card, adding some soft clouds behind the wheel, some basic black lines and a simple sentiment. I did add a touch of Wink of Stella to the Ferris Wheel after colouring it in.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the girlfriends' creations - and then link up your own "Back to Basics" creations!

Hello Friend

Wednesday, August 29, 2018
Greetings from Bermuda! My daughter, youngest son and I are celebrating the last week of summer vacation with a cruise. (My middle guy opted to stay home as he had a few commitments. We miss him!)

This week's challenge at Little Red Wagon is hosted by Imke. She's looking to see us use old or new trends - from stamps to techniques to embellishments, etc. I opted to go back to my earlier crafting days when dry embossing and eyelets were all the rage!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the girlfriends have created - and then link up your own trendy project!

Sending You a Smile

Wednesday, August 22, 2018
I'm thrilled to be the hostess for this week's Little Red Wagon challenge and have chosen the theme "Hippo Birdie". I'd like to see birthday projects with an animal theme!

I created a birthday card using some stamps from My Favorite Things' Meow Mix stamp set. Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own animal-themed birthday project! We can't wait to see what you make!

Camp Cards

Wednesday, August 15, 2018
Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my! That's the theme that Brenda has chosen for this week's Little Red Wagon challenge. She'd like to see us use wild animals on our creations!

My little (who is almost 16, 6'3'' and still growing!) is at camp this week. Through the years, I've always made a set of cards to add to the camp mailbox so he'll have a little something to open each day during mail call. This will be his last year at camp so the last set of camp cards that I'll be making until the grands come along (which is no time soon!). It was a little bit bittersweet as I created and wrote the cards...

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the wild projects created by the design team - and then link up your own creation for this week's challenge!
6

Have a Jawsome Day

Wednesday, August 8, 2018
Jan is this week's Little Red Wagon Hostess and she wants to see extra crafting activity out there with her Get (Inter)Active theme. Jan is looking for movement on our creations - from shakers to spinners to Action Wobbles and pop-ups - or any other technique that has project recipients doing more than just ripping open the envelope!

I decided to create a shaker card using products from My Favorite Things, Studio Katia and Your Next Stamp (as well as a banner die from My Craft Spot, no longer in business).

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the Girlfriends' interactive projects - and then link up one of your own!

Yappy Birthday

Wednesday, August 1, 2018
Heather is our hostess at Little Red Wagon. She is a huge fan of sketches and wants to see our creations based on sketches. Don't forget to share the sketch and give credit!!

I chose the most recent My Favorite Things sketch (Sketch Challenge #396) for my card and used a variety of MFT products to create it - stamps, dies and stencil. I'll put this aside for my middle's birthday next week!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to check out the rest of the Girlfriends' creations. If you can't find a sketch, you're more than welcome to use one that somebody else has used.

Have an Ice Day

Wednesday, July 25, 2018
It's been an incredibly busy week here. I've been at work for a few days - which I absolutely love! It means that I've got very little time at home to accomplish all the things I need to do though. I was out getting groceries at 11pm last night!

Imke is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she's singing, "Ice, ice, baby!" She wants to see ice on our creations! You can go with iced treats or turn your thoughts to winter, like I did with my little skating scene.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' creations - and then link up your own icy project!

What On Earth...

Wednesday, July 18, 2018
It's time for a new weekly challenge at Little Red Wagon and I'm thrilled to be this week's hostess! I've chosen the theme "Off, Off and Away" and would like to see projects related to space, planets, UFOs, aliens, etc.

For my card, I focused on our home planet with a fun little sentiment to match. I created the background with a variety of distress inks. It was messy but fun!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own Off, Off and Away projects! I can't wait to see what you create!

Tremendous Things

Wednesday, July 11, 2018
Brenda is this week's hostess at Little Red Wagon and she's got a fun challenge for us: Lights, Camera, Action. Brenda would like to see creations that have been inspired by film.

I realize that the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory began as a book. However, the original movie was a favourite when I was little (despite needing to leave the room for several scenes and still having nightmares!!). I've had the Whiz Banger stamp set for a couple of years now and decided it was the perfect time to bring it out and ink it up!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own film-inspired project!

Fleece Navidad

Wednesday, July 4, 2018
Happy Wednesday! It's incredibly hot here in Central Ontario. Jan is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she's chosen the theme "Christmas in July". Perhaps she wants us to try thinking wintery thoughts in an attempt to cool down!

For my card, I used Lawn Fawn's Baaah Humbug stamp set. The scalloped rectangle was cut with a die from My Favorite Things.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the creations and then link up your own Christmas project. You'll have one less thing to do during the busyness of December!

Life is a Beautiful Ride

Wednesday, June 27, 2018
It's Heather's turn to host at Little Red Wagon and she wants to see projects celebrating "Summer Fundays" - projects that represent summer fun.

Although I am not a cyclist, my husband was and there was nothing he enjoyed more in the summer than riding his bicycle. My middle son and his girlfriend have been very busy planning a cycle fundraiser in support of esophageal cancer (Ralph's Race Against Cancer - July 14) and they have been blessed with some fabulous donations from a variety of sponsors. I have been busy making thank you cards for sponsors and volunteers.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own Summer Fundays projects!

Of All the Gifts

Saturday, June 23, 2018
It's Feature Day at Your Next Stamp and the Design Team (which includes me as Guest Designer this month!) has been challenged with the theme "Animal Antics". Today, we're showcasing some YNS products that feature animals.

I decided to go with a couple of cute critters from Phoebe and Pets. This set has a sweet little Phoebe, some animals and a few accessories too. One of my dear friends is involved with turtle rescue and I thought she'd appreciate not only the turtle image but the wonderful little sentiment that is also included in
Phoebe and Pets.

In addition to
Phoebe and Pets stamps and dies, I also used the YNS Mini Heart Ink Splatter stamp and the Stick Frame Die Set.

This will be my last post as Guest Designer for Your Next Stamp this month - but it certainly won't be my last post using Your Next Stamp products! Thanks so much for having me join you for the month of June, YNS! I always enjoy my time with you!

You LIft My Spirits

Wednesday, June 20, 2018
Imke is our Little Red Wagon hostess this week and, with summer holidays just around the corner, she's thinking about travel. She'd like to see projects of any kind (cards, home decor, bags and boxes, scrapbook pages, etc.) dealing with anything to do with travel! You can focus on a particular place or something that you enjoy doing while traveling.

I love to travel! London is my favourite city to visit, with Paris coming in a close second. When I visit Paris, I typically stay in a short-term rental so that I can be fully immersed in the culture, visiting local grocers and bakeries for daily necessities. Well, I suppose that sweet treats aren't really necessary, but I'm very drawn to them all the same!!

I used MFT's In Paris stamp set to create my card, doing just a little bit of masking to create my scene.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' takes on this challenge - and then think about travel as you create a project to link up this week!

Just Bee-Cause

Wednesday, June 13, 2018
Happy Wednesday and welcome to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon. I'm hosting again this week with a challenge called "To Bee or Not to Bee" - use bees on your creation!

For my project, I used the stamp set "Meant to Bee" from My Favorite Things. I did some ink smooshing with distress oxide ink and then dry embossed some vellum to lay over top. I had such fun colouring the sweet bees and their little hive!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' projects - and then pull out your own bee supplies to create and link a project! I can't wait to see what you make!

You Make Me Smile

Hi friends! I'm excited to be back with another project as a Your Next Stamp guest designer for the month of June. Today, we have a "Summer Fun Kickoff" Design Team Dare. The Design Team was challenged to create a project that celebrates the start of summer using older Your Next Stamp products.

I love summer! I love the water and swimming. I love to camp and to hike. And I also love to sit out in the sun and simply take in the creation around me. That's just what Gardening Phoebe is doing on my card! I used Gardening Phoebe stamps and dies for Phoebe and the sentiment and Gardening Birds stamps and dies for the sweet little robins and their birdbath.

As with all YNS Design Team Dares, there is a prize up for grabs! Simply head on over to the Your Next Stamp Blog to check things out - and leave a comment there for your chance to win!!

YNS Blog Hop - Flippin' Fabulous

Saturday, June 9, 2018
Welcome to the June 2018 Your Next Stamp blog hop!! I've over-the-moon excited to be joining the talented Your Next Stamp crafters as a guest designer this month. You'll be seeing some more YNS creations from me over the next few weeks!

Instead of the usual monthly release, Karen has decided that the YNS designers will showcase some of their favourite products this month. I had a very difficult time deciding which products to use for my creation as I'm smitten with so many of them! I finally opted to use the Flippin' Fabulous stamp set (for my happy crab with flip-flops and the sentiment) along with a Mini Heart Ink Splatter stamp to create a unique and interesting take on the sun. I also added some YNS Gumdrops to the flip-flops for additional fun!

As this is a blog hop, there's a prize up for grabs! One of you is going to win a $25 gift certificate to the YNS store! You don't have to leave comments at every stop along the way, but each comment will earn you another chance to win. Don't forget to leave a comment here too!

Also, in order to celebrate this special month of revisiting favourite stamps and supplies, Karen is offering an amazing sale!!

  • You must enter the code – No refunds for orders placed without the discount code

Wishing You Happiness

Tuesday, June 5, 2018
I was so excited when my talented friend, Georgiana, asked me to guest design at Die Cuttin' Divas. This week, there's a sketch to try. I always love using sketches (and don't use them anywhere as often as I should) as they give a fabulous starting point on which to base my creation.

For my card, I pulled out a wagon die from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). I cut the pieces, plus a few extras in order to create the swing to hang in my tree. I created the background by smooshing distress ink onto an old stamp package wrapper, spritzing it with water and then smooshing the wrapper onto my watercolour cardstock, doing one colour at a time in small areas and ensuring that the ink was dry before moving on to the next colour. For the "lilacs", I used the same process but used Zig marker and simply coloured a bit on the wrapper. I had so much fun creating the background!

I used a die from Mama Elephant to cut the frame for my card. I then assembled everything and added a small sentiment in the corner.

Please be sure to head to Die Cuttin' Divas to check out the other interpretations of this week's sketch. You can then try the sketch yourself to enter the challenge!

Thankful for You

Wednesday, May 30, 2018
Our Little Red Wagon challenge isn't too shabby this week. Jan is hosting and wants to see some shabby chic creations. I've been enjoying CAS creations lately that I'd forgotten how much fun it is to tear and scrunch paper, get all inky, and pull out the ribbons and pearls! I used a number of products from My Craft Spot for my card and had a lovely time reminiscing about my time designing for Kimberly.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own shabby chic creation!

Hello (Toucan)

Wednesday, May 23, 2018
It's good to be back home! My son and I had a fabulous time exploring some of Scotland's Castles and lochs - and also enjoyed our time with family in England. Our days were full of activities, laughter and love!

I have to admit that it was difficult to get this week's card together - not because of crafting itself but that I was enjoying the amazing summer-like weather that we had over the long weekend! I got lots of gardening done but also had time for a family breakfast out and an amazing walk on one of our local trails.

Heather is this week's hostess at Little Red Wagon and she's picked a fitting theme: Under the Sun (use a sun on your project). I pulled out a few supplies from Reverse Confetti (sun die, hello die and toucan stamp and die) to create my card. Please be sure to head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created!

Here are a just a few photos from my holiday with Jack.

You Rock!

Wednesday, May 2, 2018
Greetings from Edinburgh, Scotland! Before I left, I was able to create this project for our latest Little Red Wagon challenge. Brenda wants to see all forms of play - such as sports, instruments, games, etc. I decided to go with instruments to create my little rock scene.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own project for this week's challenge!

First Birthday Bear

Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Our latest Little Red Wagon challenge is hosted by Heather who has chosen the theme "Riding Along". She wants to see projects showcasing transportation. A few months ago, I purchased some cute bear stamps (Town Bear from MFT stamps) that fit this challenge perfectly!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then join in the "Riding Along" challenge!

This is my final week at work before holidays and then I'm off to the UK on Sunday. My middle and I are taking a trip to Scotland and England for a few weeks. Once I'm back, I'm looking forward to doing more blog visits as I'll have far more free time! It's been a blessing this year to have been busy with work but I'm ready for a bit of a break.

Happy Fishy Wishes

Wednesday, April 18, 2018
This week's Little Red Challenge is all about COUS - cards of unusual size. We're huge Princess Bride fans here so I especially like the name of this challenge (as Princess Bride has creatures called ROUS - rodents of unusual size). Basically, Jan, this week's hostess, is looking for any size or shape out of the ordinary.

I didn't stray too far from the norm, but I switched up my usual A2 rectangle by using chevron dies, inlaying the small one to create an acetate window. When I first started crafting, I embossed everything and it was so fun to pull out one of my original folders as I created my card! I also used the Aquarium Antics stamp and die sets from Your Next Stamp for all the little critters.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the team has created - and to link up your own COUS!

Watt's Up?

Wednesday, April 11, 2018
Another week has flown by! I've got two and a half weeks left at work before my holidays begin. Right now, I'm proctoring exams and, because I work in Accessibility Services, this means that there is lots to do. It's incredibly busy. However, as I watch our students with disabilities writing with accommodations, I realize what an important and necessary service we provide and am so thankful to be part of it.

Imke is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she's calling out, "Shine! It's Your Day!" She wants to see lights, glitter and sparkle on our creations. I went quite literal with mine and made a light bulb the focus of my card. The light bulb and sentiment are from Your Next Stamp's Perfect Chemistry set with Wink of Stella added to the light bulb for good measure (and glitter!). It's hard to tell in the photo but the blue cardstock that I used has quite a shine to it as well.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own shiny projects!

Howdy From the Herd

Wednesday, April 4, 2018
I can't believe it's already April! Time has been flying. Work is especially busy these days but I love what I do so keep going back!!

I'm delighted to be the hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and I've chosen the theme "Old McDonald". For those of you who are not native speakers of English, Old McDonald is a childhood song about a farmer with all sorts of animals. The theme "Old McDonald" is my way of asking you to feature farm animals on your creations.

For my card, I used a couple of stamp sets from My Favorite Things: Farm Friends (for most images and the sentiment) and Hog Heaven (for the fence).

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own "Old McDonald" creation. I'll be popping by to visit and comment on all the projects and can't wait to see what you create!

Happy Easter

Wednesday, March 28, 2018
Brenda is our Little Red Wagon hostess this week and she's chosen the theme Hippity Hop. She wants to see creatures that hop on our projects. With Easter just around the corner, I thought a bunny card would fit both bills.

I used a sweet little bunny from Reverse Confetti for my card. In fact, the stamp set was one of the first image sets that I ever purchased. I'm in love with the little bunnies (even though I used only one of them).

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then hippity hop to your craftroom to create a project with something that hops!

I Love You, Mum

Wednesday, March 14, 2018
Heather is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she's looking for us to "Focus on the Family". You can use family images or create something with a family member title/name in your sentiment.

In Canada, we celebrate Mother's Day in May. As I'll be away then, I thought this challenge would be the perfect opportunity to work ahead and create a special card for my mum. I used a few different supplies from My Favorite Things and Simon Says Stamp to create my card.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own "Focus on the Family" project!

I Think You're Super

Wednesday, March 7, 2018
Imke is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she wants us to "Say It in Speech Bubbles"! I have a few stamp sets and dies with speech bubbles but have been excited to ink up one of the sweet characters from Your Next Stamp's Little Darling Super Heroes so took advantage of the opportunity with this challenge.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then get out your speech bubbles (or make some of your own) and join this week's fun!

Let's Do Coffee

Wednesday, February 28, 2018
It's my turn to host at Little Red Wagon this week and I've chosen the theme "Thanks a Latte". I'd like to see hot beverages highlighted/featured on your projects. How you interpret this is up to you! Perhaps you'll create a pretty gift box with specialty teas. Perhaps a holder for a Starbucks gift card (which you could send my way with no complaints!). Or, perhaps you'll create a card featuring a hot beverage like I've done.

I used a stamp set (including the fun "ring") which I won from the wonderful Shirley of My Pinkie is Inkie in Boxertown. Although I'm not particularly fond of coffee myself, I do love to go to Starbucks with my friends. I typically get a latte as I think it's the cream and sugar that is what appeals to me!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own creation. I look forward to seeing what you make!
