Let's Do Coffee

Wednesday, February 28, 2018
It's my turn to host at Little Red Wagon this week and I've chosen the theme "Thanks a Latte". I'd like to see hot beverages highlighted/featured on your projects. How you interpret this is up to you! Perhaps you'll create a pretty gift box with specialty teas. Perhaps a holder for a Starbucks gift card (which you could send my way with no complaints!). Or, perhaps you'll create a card featuring a hot beverage like I've done.

I used a stamp set (including the fun "ring") which I won from the wonderful Shirley of My Pinkie is Inkie in Boxertown. Although I'm not particularly fond of coffee myself, I do love to go to Starbucks with my friends. I typically get a latte as I think it's the cream and sugar that is what appeals to me!

Four-Legged Word

Wednesday, February 21, 2018
Brenda is the hostess at Little Red Wagon and she's challenging us to "Go Green" - not in the literal sense, but in the reduce, reuse and recycle way!

Two of my colleagues have recently added four-legged friends to their families so I decided to make cards to celebrate the new arrivals! Given the sentiment, I thought that some pages from an old dictionary would work perfectly in the background - so that's what I used!

I Love You This Much

Wednesday, February 14, 2018
Happy Valentine's Day! Our latest Little Red Wagon challenge is hosted by Jan and it's all about "Luuurve". Luuurve is Jan-ian for love and she's looking for either Valentine's Day projects or any projects that showcase love.

I used a variety of My Favorite Things products for my card. I just love this little hedgehog with his arms opened wide and ready for a big hug. It would be a prickly one though!

Please check out the rest of the projects at Little Red Wagon and then link up your own "Luuurve" creation!

Love Ewe

Wednesday, February 7, 2018
Heather is this week's Hostess at Little Red Wagon and she's seeing red. Fortunately, she's not upset or angry - she just wants us to use reds and pinks (with neutrals) on our creations.

What with it being February, reds and pinks made me think immediately of Valentine's Day and so I decided to create a card for the occasion. This one is for my mum and I let the papers do most of the work for me!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the girlfriends have created - and then link up your own Shades of Red creation. We look forward to seeing what you make!
