It's Your Day - Milk It!

The wonderful Brenda is hosting this week's Little Red Wagon challenge and she's singing Old McDonald's Farm - use a farm animal on your project. 

I knew right away that I wanted to use a cow although I'm not sure why! I had fun stencilling the background balloons and then coloured my black and white cow.

Thank You Dairy Much

It's Heather's turn to host at Little Red Wagon this week and her theme is "Thankful For You". Heather would like to see thank you projects.

I decided to create a fun little thank you card using products from My Favorite Things. I kept things monotone with the exception of the red sentiment strip.

Howdy From the Herd

I can't believe it's already April! Time has been flying. Work is especially busy these days but I love what I do so keep going back!!

I'm delighted to be the hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and I've chosen the theme "Old McDonald". For those of you who are not native speakers of English, Old McDonald is a childhood song about a farmer with all sorts of animals. The theme "Old McDonald" is my way of asking you to feature farm animals on your creations.

For my card, I used a couple of stamp sets from My Favorite Things: Farm Friends (for most images and the sentiment) and Hog Heaven (for the fence).

Hello - Thank Ewe

My husband came home from the hospital yesterday! He was there a month so it's a huge relief to finally have him home. I'm off work for the summer and to take care of him. While he slept, I had a chance to play and made this card for the current My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge (Sketch #331) and Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge (A Hint of Pink).

I had fun putting this card, although messed up when putting the white/pink mat on my card base the first time around so it ended up in the recycling bin! Fortunately, I hadn't adhered anything else at that point so it didn't take too long to redo things. Phew! I was originally going to use the sentiment "Wool always be friends" but it was a bit too long for the card. I wasn't sure whether or not to keep the little mouse there (as I had originally planned) but he's just so sweet that I decided I couldn't bear to recycle him!
