Hello Bee

Wednesday, September 1, 2021
Hello from the beautiful Muskokas (Central Ontario). I'm camping with my youngest and we're being blessed with amazing weather now. Unfortunately, we had a pretty severe storm on Sunday and a tree came down (after the storm while the weather was absolutely gorgeous, oddly enough) on a neighbouring trailer awning with a young man and his son underneath. Although the man was hit by the tree, injuries were not life-changing and his little guy wasn't injured at all. It was quite scary though and shook those of us who responded to help.

In keeping with with my 80's classics themes this year, I've chosen "Sweet Child O' Mine" as this week's Little Red Wagon challenge. I'm hoping to see all sorts of creations for kids - from cards to decor to fun food packaging and beyond. If it's for a child (and even a child at heart!), we'd love to see it!

I pulled out products from a number of different companies - a background beehive stencil from Studio Katia (which was from my NBUS stash), a Reverse Confetti word die, a My Favorite Things Photo Booth die, Lawn Fawn patterned paper and a rub-on transfer which I think I've had, unopened in its package, from about 15 years ago - or more!!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon and check out all the fabulous creations from the design team. Get inspired and then pull out your crafting supplies to join us! I can't wait to see what you create!

Kate, this is absolutely the most adorable honey bee ever and what a very special honey comb she has. Your mixing and matching has made for such a great design. So glad you were safe and happy your neighbors were OK too.

Sweet Kate, I am deeply sorry that you, the parties involved, and all those in the vicinity experienced such a harrowing event. What a stressful thing to live through. Thank the stars above that man wasn't seriously hurt and that his son wasn't injured at all. Talk about a situation where things could have gone drastically south quickly.

On a more upbeat note, this darling card is just as cute as cute can bee!!! :)
