Your Next Stamp September Release and Blog Hop

Saturday, September 3, 2016
It's time for the Your Next Stamp September Release and Blog Hop!! All of the AMAZING new products are available for purchase at the YNS Store now too! Yay!

I'm so lucky to have received some of the new release products and am in LOVE with the Spook-tacular Halloween stamp set (and matching dies!). There are a few fun images, and I especially like the mummy - so of course I inked him up right away to create a card. The stamp set includes a variety of great sentiments too!

I started my card by using some wonky stitiched dies, with a wonky circle added to the rectangular mat. I then used my distress inks and brushes to paint the background. Once that was dry, I used the fun crooked fence from the NEW Halloween Witch die set, cutting it out twice and adhering the pieces side-by-side. I stamped, coloured and cut the fabulous new mummy image (from the Spook-tacular Halloween stamp and die set) and popped him on my card.

I heat embossed the sentiment on a speech bubble and popped that on the card too.

For my second card, I put my masking paper to work! I used a variety of distress inks to create a full moon background. I then used the wonderful NEW Batty Background Splatter stamp to heat emboss a cloud of bats. The sentiment is from the
NEW Spook-tacular Halloween set and it is heat embossed too.

Here are photos of the NEW release items that I used for my cards above:

Now it's time for you to hop! The more blogs you visit, the greater your chances are at winning a $25 gift certificate to the YNS store! (You don't have to comment on all to qualify, but it will increase your odds of winning if you do.) I'd love for you to leave a comment here too!

LOVE your first card! The background is perfect, and I love that the Wonky Stitches dies play off the stitching on the mummy's face.
