You Brrring Me Joy

The weather has been quite pleasant here - although we did have a nasty taste of winter a couple of weeks ago. The temperatures were low and we had a couple of dumpings of snow. My littlest (who's actually the youngest but biggest, standing 6'6"!) insists on wearing shorts and a t-shirt each day - and did so through the snow and cold. Meanwhile, I was wearing a down coat with boots, a hat, mitts and scarf when it was really cold. Anyway, all this is to introduce you to our latest challenge at Little Red Wagon - Snow Much Fun! All we ask this week is that there is something to do with snow somewhere on your project.

I used my Festive Friends stamp set from MFT to create my little snowy scene. A couple of years ago, I invested in the Brother Scan 'N Cut which has more than paid for itself and is so quick and easy to use. I rarely buy dies for my images anymore. Usually, there are no issues. However, I would have liked the space cut out between the antlers/lights and the reindeer's head and just couldn't get it to happen. It could be a big wad of snow though - so all's good!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to check out the rest of the snowy creations - and then link up your own project! We can't wait to see what you create!

Love this card, such a great image and such a happy scene.
Had to laugh at the difference between you and your son, what is it with the youngsters? We see the same thing here, although nowhere near your temperatures LOL.

Your card is adorable Kate! I love the lights entangled around the deer! I hear ya on the cold and teenagers! My youngest does the same thing... I'm freezing (20 degrees outside) and he's like "Mom, it's nice out" and I look at him like he's crazy... LOL

I had to laugh when I read about your son. My son went to school in Iowa (cold and often snowy) and all the Hawaii kids still wore shorts and t-shirts...on really cold days they would add a hoodie and sometimes if there was no snow they would wear their slippers (flipflops)! Your card is darling, and I so agree with your about the Scan N Cut, one of the best crafty purchases I've ever made. Thanks for the fun challenge!
