Thank You

It is the wonderful Brenda’s turn to host at Little Red Wagon this week and she has chosen the theme “Pearls & Sequins & Gems! Oh my!”

I created this card using a wooden embellishment repurposed from a gift bag received several years ago. The gems were already there! I am embossed the background mat and voilà!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see all the other pearls & sequins & gems on the girlfriends’ creations. We would love for you to join this week‘s challenge as well!

Seasons Tweetings

Wednesday, November 19, 2025

Hello from sunny and warm Bahamas! My new husband, John, and I are currently on our honeymoon. We are cruising around the beautiful islands of the Bahamas this week. Before we left, I made several cards as we will be gone for three weeks. I did not have much time as I was also preparing for our wedding so I will have some fairly simple cards to share for the next bit.

Janice is our wonderful hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she is looking for things that fly. I put together this little card using an old set from Lawn Fawn. It was only after I went to crop the photo that I took at home last week that I realized the little bird and scalloped squares are squint. There is nothing I can do about that now!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon n to see what the rest of the girlfriends have created. We would love you to link up a project with something that flies as well. Think birds, planes, hot air, balloon, balloons, butterflies, etc.

Here’s a photo from Friday night. 💕

The fabulous Chrissy is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she'd like to see some gold and/or silver.

I decided to go with silver and pulled out my silver embossing powder for my Studio Katia stamped flowers as well as a generic sentiment. I did some watercolouring with my Zig markers and added a few silver balls to finish things off.

Be sure to head over to Little Red Wagon to play along! While there, be sure to check out the rest of the Girlfriends' projects too!

Feel Better

Wednesday, November 5, 2025
Imke is hosting our challenge at Little Red Wagon this week. She's continuing her way through the alphabet and has landed on the letter I. She's decided that I is for ice cream and I think that's the best choice for the letter I!!

I created this card using stamps from Lawn Fawn and dies from My Craft Spot (no longer in business) and My Favorite Things. I've always liked ice cream but I find that I am really, really liking ice cream lately!!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then join in with your own I is for Ice Cream project.
