My daughter loves frills and jewels, pinks and purples - as well as hummingbirds! I made this card for her back in the summer. It's one of a few cards I made well in advance for our Little Red Wagon challenges. Not because I was super organized but because I misread the challenge themes and ended up working way ahead! It all works out though as this has been a particularly busy start of term as our students transition back to in-person learning.
Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' creations (which I'm sure they had fun making!). Then link up your own paper projects so I'll know to pop by your blogs to see what you've created.

Tee hee, I've misread the challenge themes a time or two myself. I also wanted to say I'm glad you added a note to the challenge to make it inclusive....myself, I tend to think of masculine or feminine challenges to be more about the style than about who the card is for or about - darker colours, cleaner lines for "masculine" and softer colours, more embellishments for "feminine".
Your card is delightful! I bet your daughter loved it. Splendid soft colours, and hummingbirds are always so pretty.
Kate, this is absolutely so sweet. I just know it made your daughter so happy. This little hummingbird is still sitting in my shopping cart I just love it. Beautiful card, fun challenge!
Splendidly sweet card. That hummingbird is endlessly charming and cuter than b-day cake is delicious.
Happiest wishes for an amazing birthday and a fantastic year ahead!
