Happy Birthday

Wednesday, January 31, 2018
It's Imke's first time hosting at Little Red Wagon this week and she's chosen a theme that never gets old - Birthday Balloons! Given that I always know somebody who's having a birthday, I had no problem thinking of a recipient and had fun putting my card together for my little nephew who will be celebrating his special day in February.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then create a birthday balloons project of your own!

Let's Cuddle

Wednesday, January 24, 2018
I was working with a student yesterday who told me that she couldn't believe that it was only Wednesday. I felt bad letting her know that it was actually only Tuesday. It's Wednesday now though - which means it's time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon. I'm the hostess this week and I've chosen the theme "Bundle Up!". I'm not a fan of winter but I do love hats, scarves and mittens so that's what I'd like to see on your creations!

I used some cute critters sporting lovely pink scarves on my card. The stamps I used are all from My Favorite Things and I did some masking to create my little scene. It looks a bit as though the ice is half floating in the air, but with the freezing rain that we've had here in Ontario, that just might be the case in some places!!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own "Bundle Up!" projects. I look forward to checking them out this week!

I'm also linking up my card at The House That Stamps Built - Repeat Impressions Anything Goes Challenge ~ J2418.

Thank Ewe

It's another Wednesday which means it's time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge. Brenda is hosting this week and she wants us to "Round Up". She wants to see round themes on our cards, layouts or other projects.

For my card, I used pattern paper with lots of round circles. I also cut a round circle out of my white mat to create a window. The little lamb, fence and sentiment are from Reverse Confetti.

Please make your way 'round to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then link up your own "Round Up" project.

Hello

Wednesday, January 10, 2018
I'm thrilled that the weather is less harsh this week. In fact, temperatures might even rise above the freezing mark tomorrow!

Jan is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week, and she's chosen the theme "Boy, oh boy!" She'd like to see masculine projects. I'm not sure that my card screams "masculine" but there is nothing particularly feminine about it so I hope it works! I created it with inlaid die cuts and tried to keep the look quite simple.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then create something for one of the males in your life so you can join our challenge too!

You're Snow Easy to Love

Wednesday, January 3, 2018
Happy 2018!! I do hope that you all had a lovely holiday. We enjoyed our cruise to the Bahamas - but returned home to a deep freeze with advisories due to the frigid temperatures. I think I'm made for sun and palm trees - not Canadian winters!!

We took time off for the holidays at Little Red Wagon but are back today with the first challenge of the year - Winter Wonderland! Heather is our hostess and she'd like to see snow on our projects. Although I'm not a fan of the real stuff, I do like snowy card creations and enjoyed putting my card together.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and to give a warm welcome to Imke, our newest Girlfriend!! We'd love for you to join in the challenge too!
