SOTTJ Welcome Page

Wednesday, October 21, 2026
I'm happy to be hosting at Little Red Wagon this week. In keeping with my inspiration from Billy Joel hits this year, I'm now singing along to "Tell Her About It". Using this as our challenge title, I'm looking for anything related to letters, emails, envelopes, postcards, telephones, etc.

I'm currently taking part in a Sisterhood of the Travelling Journal group and this spread was for my welcome page. The envelope on the left contains a letter of introduction for the rest of the sisterhood. I used items from my stash (including the gorgeous crinkle ribbon from my design team days with My Craft Spot) as well as some AI- and Canva-generated elements.

We'd love to have you join us this week! You can head over to Little Red Wagon for inspiration from the Girlfriends and then link up a project of your own!

Sunflower Birthday Wishes

Wednesday, October 14, 2026
The fabulous Brenda is hosting at Little Red Wagon and she is challenging us to use a frame on our creations.

I added a frame to my card although layered the flower and part of the sentiment on top of it. The frame is from Your Next Stamp (no longer in business) and the sentiment and sunflower were cut with generic dies.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the way the rest of the Girlfriends uses frames. We'd love for you to join us too!

Otterly Fabulous

Wednesday, October 7, 2026
Janice is hosting at Little Red Wagon this week and she's got a fun one for us! Stitches! We're invited to use any sort of stitching on our creations - hand sewn stitches, machine sewn stitches, faux stitches, die cut stitches, and even Frankenstein stitches (which I was going to do but then needed a card for another occasion and Frankenstein just would not have been appropriate).

I created this card for a friend of mine who is the principal of Otonabee College. The college mascot is Ottie the otter and the colours are blue and gold. I used dies with stitches for the frame and mat. Mission accomplished!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the stitched projects. We'd love for you to link one up too!
