Soldier Box

My goodness! Life has been a whirlwind! We're still getting settled into our new home and fully enjoying the process. That said, we were invited to spend the weekend with friends at their cottage and jumped at the chance - not only to get away, but to spend time with good friends too! We had such a lovely time and have returned home refreshed and ready to face a new week.

This week's challenge at My Craft Spot is "Anything but a card". I decided to make a box! Originally, I was going to make an ornate box but saw this adorable little soldier boy at the Silhouette Store and was completely smitten!

After assembling the box, I stamped the flag before attaching it. I used the ENJOY stamp from the Postage Stamps stamp set.

Please head over to My Craft Spot to see what the rest of the design team has created - and to link up your own project for a chance to win this week's prize! Have a fantastic day!

My sweet friend, this is adorable! I love the sentiment choice for his flag. :o) The cut file is darling and I fell in love with it right away, too! It reminds me of a Christmas Nutcracker! :o) I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your friends and are settling into your new home. :o) Lots of love and hugs to you!

Hugs and blessings,
Karen
