This coming weekend is a holiday one in Canada. I was supposed to go camping and booked my site months ago. Unfortunately, our lockdown has been extended until at least June 2 so "here I stay again"! The pool has been opened though so I'll spend the time working on getting that ready for swimming. In addtion to holiday Monday, I've actually taken Friday and Tuesday off as vacation days and am looking forward to a long-overdue break!
I used My Favorite Things' Town Bear stamp set for my little bear, tree, stop sign and sentiment. The background was stamped using MFT's City Block Background. I bought the stamp when it first came out thinking I'd do all sorts of things with it... and finally inked it up for this project!
Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the projects created by the rest of the talented design team - and then make your own travel-themed creation to join the fun. I can't wait to see what you make!

Awww, at least you'll have a staycation which usually turns out pretty well. They can be so relaxing. Love your sweet little card, the stamps couldn't be more perfect for each other. As for White Snake, I had the pleasure of sitting next to Marco Mendoza on a flight from CA to HI. he was such a nice guy!
Super cute card Kate, love the city background and very cute little stamp..hope you have a lovely break anyway even if you cannot get away, we all will one day..

An adorable card, love the coloured image with the B&W city Kate. What a shame your missing your camping, but a staycation can be Ok sometimes? Enjoy, whatever you do. Keep safe.

What a sweet card, Kate! I love this little scene.
Ah, yes, the extended lockdown and new Step level reopening. Fudge.....I'm not gonna fill up your comment section with my complaints....which boils down to how we've failed out kids/youth with the handling of everything. I have no idea what the solution could have been/is....I just know it's not this (and that *pointing back along the timeline*). But you'd know all about that so much more in depth than I!
Enjoy your extended long weekend! They keep changing the weather forecast here....I'm hoping for beautiful weather for you and your pool. (:
One last comment....What the heck, Brenda?!? Any other famous people you know you want to tell us about?
What a darling card and awesome song to help inspire it. That is one of my all-time favourite 80s power ballads as well.
Happiest Victoria Day long weekend wishes coming your way, my sweet friend. I hope that it's a sunny, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable one for you and your DH.
