The wonderfully talented Chrissy is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and her challenge theme for us is "Christmas Cards". And, because it's Christmas, Chrissy has let us all know that any sort of paper project will work - as long as it has something to do with Christmas!

I made a card using a generic nativity ornament die that I purchased earlier this year. I had to use two shims for all the detailing to cut but it was worth it. I'm happy with the finished cut. And I used a generic word die for the sentiment. The papers are from a pack I purchased long ago. I inked the edges and also added a bit of sparkle to the star and infant Christ child's halo. The sparkle looks better in person.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Christmas creations. We would love for you to join the challenge too!

Thanks (One Word Card)

Imke is hosting this week's challenge at Little Red Wagon. She's been working through the alphabet this year and we're now at J. Imke has decided that J is for Just One Word! Whatever you created (a card, a scrapbook page, a bookmark, etc.), be sure that the sentiment/title has just one word.

I made some thank you cards to show my appreciation for some wedding gifts we received. We asked people to donate to our local food security initiative as that's a cause close to my heart. A few people also gave us some items to open as well.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' creations. What word will you choose when you join the challenge?

With Deepest Sympathy

Wednesday, December 3, 2025
Hello from Saint Kitts! John and I are on the final week of our honeymoon, staying in a condo right by the Atlantic Ocean. It is going to be difficult to head back to the cold and snow on Saturday!

This is my final time hosting at Little Red Wagon this year and I am continuing with challenges inspired by the works of Elton John. This week, it is Sad Songs (Say So Much) and I am looking anything related to sympathy.

I created this card with a stamp set from My Favorite Things. This stamp seems to be a go to for me for sympathy cards.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created. I would love for you to join us as well!

Here’s a photo of my “backyard“ this week. The ocean is right behind me.
