I'm hosting this week's challenge at Little Red Wagon and, still using Elton John as inspiration this year, I've chosen the theme based on "Circle of Life". In the context of the challenge, this can be interpreted as needing to use at least one circle on your creation.

I made a card for my youngest which reads, "Tinfoil lids are notoriously difficult to read". This is often quoted at our house whenever we find something expired in our fridge. The quote is from an old Catherine Tate Show sketch. In fact, there are a few Catherine Tate quips that reduce us to laughter here. This is not actually my original card as the paper went down before I'd lined it up. As I was using my advanced tape glider, I was out of luck when trying to get the paper apart. Anyway, I printed off a second copy of the image and sentiment (done in Canva) and simply stuck it to some polka dot (tiny circles!!) paper. I'm actually happy with the simplicity despite the initial aggravation.
Here's a video of the sketch:
The wedding I mentioned last week (of the international student couple) was absolutely beautiful! We spent over five hours decorating the hall and it was quite the transformation. Here are a few photos.

Please head to Little Red Wagon to see the rest of the Girlfriends' projects and link up one of your own as well!
