Seasons Tweetings

Hello from sunny and warm Bahamas! My new husband, John, and I are currently on our honeymoon. We are cruising around the beautiful islands of the Bahamas this week. Before we left, I made several cards as we will be gone for three weeks. I did not have much time as I was also preparing for our wedding so I will have some fairly simple cards to share for the next bit.

Janice is our wonderful hostess at Little Red Wagon this week and she is looking for things that fly. I put together this little card using an old set from Lawn Fawn. It was only after I went to crop the photo that I took at home last week that I realized the little bird and scalloped squares are squint. There is nothing I can do about that now!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon n to see what the rest of the girlfriends have created. We would love you to link up a project with something that flies as well. Think birds, planes, hot air, balloon, balloons, butterflies, etc.

Here’s a photo from Friday night. 💕

Oh, Kate, I am soooooooooo happy for you! Congratulations to you both!!! Enjoy your honeymoon cruise!!! And as to your card, such a sweet (tweet) creation. You know, I've decided that it is our handmade cards and their imperfections that make them all the more special – no AI there – all human. Perfect is boring.

Shani said it, perfect is boring, wabi-sabi (finding beauty in imperfection) is my mantra these days. Have a wonderful time on your cruise. Congratulations!
