When the stamp set, "You Keep Me Afloat" from MFT was released, I purchased it right away, along with a background sea stamp ("Scallop Stripe"), and never used them... until now! I started by stamping a background using the sea stamp with Versamark and then heat embossing with a glittery embossing powder (although it's hard to see the sparkle in the photo). I then blended some ink in three different blues. I cut the mat and frame from different MFT dies and finally stamped, coloured and cut the fun little sea friends.

A wonderful card, Kate! I love all the elements of it – great paper, great dies, and super cute images; Bunny hanging out in his inner tube with buddy Mr. Seagull, lazily watching the fishes swim by and a boat in the distance, made me smile.

ReplyDeleteKate, his is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt! I love the soft colors and that little rabbit is darling! The sparkly embossing was a great touch.
