Joy, Love, Peace

It's Imke's turn to host at Little Red Wagon and she's saying, "After Christmas is Before Christmas" - which is so true! I'm a firm believer in starting early. In fact, on Monday I placed an order for some family stocking stuffers. I typically start my Christmas shopping in January. Sometimes, I forget what I've purchased though. Last year, I ended up keeping some of the stocking stuffers aside and I'll give them next Christmas! Anyway, I'm typically not as good about getting a head start when it comes to Christmas cards so I'm thankful to Imke for this challenge as I have now created my first Christmas card of 2020!

I used a Joy, Love, Peace die that I had purchased prior to Christmas but never used. I wanted to add a bit more to the card and found some nativity buttons that I've had for years. I trimmed the backs so they'd lie a bit more flat and think the Holy Family goes quite well on my card.

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created - and then start your own Christmas 2020 preparations and sharing what you've made!

  2. I had to chuckle about the forgotten Christmas goodies. I do that almost every year (=. I also love that you are still using NBUS! Your button is wonderful and just the perfect addition to an already gorgeous card.

  6. I use to be ahead for Christmas with gifts and stocking stuffers when my kids were little... Now I'm only ahead with my Christmas cards! hahaha I try to make a new one every week - I mean if the craft supplies are readily available... Why Not? LOL - Super sweet card Kate... I hope you end up making more as the year goes on. HUGS!
