Hello - Thank Ewe

My husband came home from the hospital yesterday! He was there a month so it's a huge relief to finally have him home. I'm off work for the summer and to take care of him. While he slept, I had a chance to play and made this card for the current My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge (Sketch #331) and Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge (A Hint of Pink).


I had fun putting this card, although messed up when putting the white/pink mat on my card base the first time around so it ended up in the recycling bin! Fortunately, I hadn't adhered anything else at that point so it didn't take too long to redo things. Phew! I was originally going to use the sentiment "Wool always be friends" but it was a bit too long for the card. I wasn't sure whether or not to keep the little mouse there (as I had originally planned) but he's just so sweet that I decided I couldn't bear to recycle him!

    LOVE the card, the sheep and the mouse are lovely together, love the pink too.

    Of course you needed to keep the mouse, Kate. He is too cute as is the lamb. I'm so glad Ralph is home with you but remember to take care of yourself, too.
