My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party - Day 1

Welcome to the My Craft Spot stamp release party!  Each day this week, we'll be sharing projects created using the FIVE new stamp sets and FOUR new sets of metal dies which will be available for sale this Saturday!  Each day, be sure to leave a comment for Kimberly over at My Craft Spot to be eligible to win the daily prize.  On Saturday, all the new products will be revealed and available for purchase.  We'll celebrate with a blog hop - with prizes at EACH stop along the way!

Today, we're showcasing projects created with the NEW Chalkboard Sentiments stamp set.  This set is SO fun!  The chalkboard effect is very "in" right now and these stamps just make getting the look so much easier!

For my project, I created a little set of 3x3 gift cards for my son's teachers.   I suppose I just can't help but think of school when I think of chalkboards!!  I stamped the NEW sentiment inside a mat I cut using My Craft Spot's Ornate Labels metal dies.  The inner stamped from is from our last release - Ornate Labels Christmas.  To fill the space above the sentiment, I cut little apples from Doodlecharms.

Do you see the fun notebook edge on the blue mats?  They were created using one of the NEW metal die sets!  You'll be seeing some more fun edges throughout the week.  There's such a fabulous variety!  And to finish off my cards, I added some fun measuring tape sticky tape.  I LOVE that it is in metric!!

Be sure to head over to My Craft Spot to check out the rest of the design team's amazing projects created with the NEW Chalkboard Sentiments stamp set.  While you're there, don't forget to leave a comment for Kimberly for your chance to win today's prize: a Build a Valentine stamp set!
