Hallowe'en Treats

The challenge at My Craft Spot is "Trick or Treat" this week.  I made some licorice candy tubes to share around.  I started out by filling some narrow Stampin' Up cellophane bags (sent to me by my sweet design team sister, Ally, of Rock Paper Cricut) with black licorice strings.

For the toppers themselves, I used both Ornate Labels metal dies and Lacy Doilies metal dies.  I used a variety of sentiments, stamped with selections from Ornate Labels - Halloween stamp set (the frames inside the die cuts and "Toxic Treats" sentiment), Spooky Treats stamp set (for "Spooky Treats" sentiment), Candy Corn Kisses stamp set (for the "Boo"), and Stamping All Around Fall stamp set (for the bat under "Spooky Treats").

To finish things off, I combined some Smokey Black and Deep Purple crinkle ribbons for the bow around my vase.

There are a number of fun and fabulous projects over at My Craft Spot today.  Check them out - and then enter your own Trick-or-Treat project for a chance to win this week's prize!
