My Craft Spot Fall Stamp Release Party - Day 3

It's Day 3 of the My Craft Spot Fall Stamp Release Party.  I can't believe we're halfway through the week already!  (Perhaps it's racing by as Monday was a holiday...)  Today, the team at My Craft Spot is showcasing the NEW Ornate Labels metal dies and corresponding NEW Ornate Labels - Halloween stamp set.

As soon as I saw this set, I couldn't wait to use the "Wicked Witch Inn" stamp so designed my card around it.  I started with a Happy Hauntings frame for my card base and then cut a haunted house (or inn, in this case!) using Create a Critter 2, running it through a Tim Holtz distressed brick embossing folder.  I inked the moon and then added some Crackle Accents for an extra glow.  In front of the inn, I used a Martha Stewart spooky fence border and then punched some black grass with an EK Success punch.  On top of this, I layered some fabulous Toadally Green crinkle ribbon (available at the My Craft Spot store).  Instead of a bow, I frayed the ends for a spooktacular look.

To create the wonderful sign for the inn, I first used the NEW Ornate Labels - Halloween stamp set to stamp the frame on green cardstock.  Next, I cut it out with the NEW Ornate Labels metal dies.  I then stamped "The Wicked Witch Inn, Stay for a Spell" sentiment from the NEW Ornate Labels - Halloween stamp set, which fits inside the frame perfectly.  After inking the edges, I used the same Tim Holtz embossing folder that I'd used on the inn itself to give a bit of added interest to the sign.  I finished everything off with some Halloween sequins, now available at My Craft Spot.

I used a couple more stamps from the NEW Ornate Labels - Halloween stamp set for the inside of my card, opting for another sentiment and the crow.

Be sure to visit My Craft Spot today to see the rest of the design team's fabulous creations - and leave a comment for Kimberly for your chance to win today's prize: the Best Witches to You stamp set.
