Welcome Little One

Imke is hosting at Little Red Wagon this week. Working her way through the alphabet, she's now at N. She's decided that N is for Newborn!

I have a baby boy card in my stash so decided to make something for a baby girl. I pulled out a number of products that have been ignored for ages! The giraffe is from My Favorite Things' Wild About You set and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Bundle of Joy stamp set. The little heart border was created with a Stampin' Up punch and the "cross" frames used for the image and small mat are also from My Favorite Things. I embossed the small mat with a tiny hearts Cuttlebug embossing folder. I finished things off with some corners cut with an EK Success punch. I remember the days when I used to add corners to so many of my creations. It was fun to use some forgotten tools and supplies!

Please head over to Little Red Wagon to see what the rest of the Girlfriends have created. We'd love for you to join the fun as well!

  3. This is a precious card, Kate! Love your giraffe and pink paper and how nice to use some neglected craft supplies/tools. I used to use corners a lot, as well. I need to dig them out and start using them again because yours look great! I like your stunning new profile photo, too!!!
