My middle guy graduated from grade eight last week. I had downloaded all the photos from that special night to my computer and it crashed a few days later. (That makes the third time I've needed the hard drive replaced since I bought it new in the fall! Avoid Dell at all costs!!) Although I do back up important photos and documents, I had not yet backed up the photos and was absolutely devastated to think that I'd lost them. Fortunately, though, I was able to perform a photo recovery with my camera and retrieve the majority. Phew! Anyway here's a photo of my handsome man receiving his diploma.

OMG! I am so glad you were able to get your photos back....I would of had a nervous breakdown for sure. Congrats to the winners.
So glad you were able to recover your photos. I recently had a Dell laptop kick the bucket on me but it was a slow process and I had backed it up. My hubby gave me a new Toshiba laptop for Mother's Day. My daughter graduated in cap & gown from preschool, Kindergarten, 8th grade & high school and now has completed her freshman yr of college. Thank you for letting me know I won a gift certificate in the Canada Day blog hop that I enjoyed. I've emailed you my info. This is my 1st win. I'm excited!

What a Handsome young man you have Kate! And OMGOODNESS... the computer crashing with photo's just scares me to death... I have an external hard drive to store all my files/music/photo's cause I had an old computer do that to me shortly after I moved here.... and I thought I had lost the photo's from our last BBQ at our old house with friends and our first Christmas in this house... I was crying about it until they sent me my computer back and shockingly they were back on the computer after they fixed it! The horror of losing them crushed me but seeing them again made me take drastic measures to make sure that doesn't happen ever again. :o) I'm sooooo glad you were able to save the pictures... :o)

They only get a ceremony at the High School level. Your son looks so grown up in his suit. What wonderful memories. Hugs, Pam at http://craftycards4u2.blogspot.com/
